Fan Cha
A flat square of tea, usually weighing 81g, 100g, 200r, 250g. and 500g. Often on it you can see extruded or convex images in the form of hieroglyphs (sometimes ancient). In our drawing, for example, there is the inscription (square puer). To make square pu-erh, nowadays, as a rule, high-quality raw materials are used, which definitely affects the taste. Often the square is packed not in paper, but in an individual cardboard box.
Jin Cha
Pressed Mushroom Tea Jin Cha literally translates simply as “pressed tea”. Jin Cha is very popular in Tibet and is used as one of the ingredients to prepare the traditional drink "Chasuima". Standard weight 250 grams.
Jin Gua Cha
Jin Gua Cha is made from high quality raw materials collected from the famous Yiwu Mountain. In appearance, this pu-erh resembles a flattened ball or pumpkin. The shape of the gourd (a Chinese symbol of longevity) was first used in the production of Gong Cha (贡茶) tea - "Emperor Offering Tea". Standard weights are 100, 200 and 250 grams. But there are larger specimens - 500 g. and higher. In China, this tea is called 人头茶 - “Tea in the shape of a human head.”
Loose Pu'er
A feature of loose Pu-erh 散茶 (San Cha) is, as a rule, the uniformity of the raw materials. To produce this type of pu-erh, approximately identical leaves are taken from one plantation and one type of tea bush. Blends are most often characteristic of pressed Pu-erh.
Pu-erh in tangerine
Consists only of natural ingredients - pu-erh and real tangerine. For its production, they take fermented, but not completely dried Shu Pu-erh. The tangerine is filled with loose pu-erh, after cutting off the top and removing the pulp. then Pu-erh in tangerine dries and cures for several hours in an oven. Tangerine zest, containing essential oils, soaks pu-erh during storage.
Pu-erh in a bamboo tube
To produce Pu-erh in a bamboo tube - 筒普 (Tong Pu), a special aromatic variety of bamboo is used. The stem cavity is filled with compacted loose pu-erh. The tube is then heated over a fire using charcoal. At the same time, pu-erh absorbs the aroma of bamboo.
